Mineral sun cream is no longer just about white streaks and sticky textures.
With Karmameju’s relaunched sun creams, you get advanced sun protection that also nourishes the skin – for both face and body, children and adults.

All our sun care products are formulated using exclusively mineral, physical sun filters made from non-nano zinc oxide. This provides immediate protection and broad-spectrum UVA, UVB and HEV protection.

Why choose mineral-based sun cream?

Mineral sun cream works by protecting the skin through absorbing UV radiation whilst simultaneously reflecting and scattering some of the radiation away from the skin’s outermost layer – the protection is therefore immediate. We prefer physical filters, as several years of research indicate that they are highly photostable and less likely to irritate the skin.

Many people are looking for sun cream free from endocrine disruptors or want to know more about the difference between mineral and chemical UV filters.

At Karmameju, we have chosen mineral UV filters based on the precautionary principle. Research into UV filters is constantly evolving, and we closely follow scientific assessments and current legislation in this area.

Our sun care products are formulated with mineral UV filters and are free from oxybenzone, octinoxate and other UV filters that are often the subject of debate regarding endocrine disruptors. At the same time, we have chosen to avoid nanotechnology in our sun care products as a precautionary measure.
