SUN LOTION fragrance-free contains the same skin-strengthening and antioxidant-rich sun protection as the rest of the KARMAMEJU SUN range – just without the aromatherapy. Formulated with organic, emollient shea butter, moisturising jojoba and almond oils, soothing aloe vera and skin-strengthening vitamin E.

Texture The physical, mineral sunscreen made from zinc oxide feels light and spreads easily over the skin. The filter does not leave the skin looking white or feeling sticky, as mineral sunscreens are otherwise known to do.

• Use an amount roughly equivalent to a handful for the body or an almond-sized amount for the face.
• Warm the sun cream between your hands and massage it into the skin in two stages to ensure full SPF coverage. Apply until the skin is completely covered to avoid reduced protection. 
• Use the PRE & AFTER SUN serum-lotion before applying sun cream for optimal protection and after sun exposure for optimal hydration and soothing of the skin.
• Sunscreen with physical filters provides sun protection immediately after application.
• Reapply frequently, especially after sweating, and always reapply after swimming or towelling off.
• Allow to dry before getting dressed.
• You can enhance, protect and prolong your tan by exfoliating your skin regularly – for example, with a body scrub or dry brushing – and by using moisturising PRE & AFTER SUN products both before and after sun exposure.
• Always store your sun care products in the shade, or as cool as possible, to preserve the optimal effect of the natural and active ingredients.

Sun safety tips

A sun hat, light clothing and staying in the shade between 12 noon and 3 pm are good ways to protect your skin during the hours when the sun is at its strongest.

Keep babies and young children out of direct sunlight. Avoid excessive sunbathing, even after applying sun cream. Too much sun poses a serious health risk. Choose the sun protection factor (SPF) that suits your skin type, as well as the intensity of the sun you are exposed to (UV index). Sensitive skin should use a high sun protection factor.

Sunscreen does not provide 100% protection, so spend time in the sun with your health in mind and never for long periods at a time. Protect the skin on your body with light clothing, and your scalp and face with a sun hat. It is recommended that you stay in the shade between 12 noon and 3 pm, when the sun is at its strongest.

To achieve a level of protection corresponding to the sun protection factor (SPF) stated on the product’s packaging, the product must be applied to the skin in the quantities at which the SPF was tested in the laboratory. For an average-sized adult, 2 mg/cm² should be applied, which corresponds to 6 teaspoons of sun cream. If a smaller amount of sun cream is used, protection will be inadequately limited. If, for example, only half the amount of sun cream is used, protection may be reduced by up to two-thirds.

Rinse thoroughly with water in case of contact with the eyes. Do not swallow. A skin test is recommended. Seek professional advice during pregnancy or whilst breastfeeding if using essential oils. Store in a cool, dark place. May contain traces of nut oil.
