By prioritising smaller production batches, we can offer fresh skincare products without high doses of preservatives. We develop our formulas in a way that naturally minimises the need for preservatives.

Where possible, we use antioxidants as natural preservatives. These slow down the natural oxidation process, thereby naturally extending the products’ shelf life.

All our water-based products are preserved to prevent microbial growth. This is because water and other aqueous liquids create an environment in which harmful bacteria, mould, yeast and fungi can thrive. To counteract this, we use the gentlest antimicrobial preservatives. We do not use unnecessarily high doses of preservatives, which is why the products must be stored in a cool place, away from sunlight, and used within 24 months of the date of manufacture.
