Hammam towel

189,-90 x 200 cm.
Pack your beach bag with our HAMMAM towel. A thin and ultra-soft towel made from 100% organic cotton that takes up very little space when rolled up – and is large enough to use as a blanket on the beach.
Use it after a dip in the water; its lightweight fabric will dry your body and dries quickly in the sun. Ideal for use as a shawl or scarf if it’s a bit chilly.
OEKO-TEX® certified.

>If we all think about the way we wash our clothes, we can make the best possible impact on the environment. The clothing industry is responsible for a considerable amount of pollution, but a surprisingly large share of the responsibility also lies with us as consumers. A remarkably high percentage of the pollution generated during the life cycle of a garment (from production to disposal) occurs in our homes, after we have bought the garment.
SIMPLE STEPS TO HELP PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT
- Wash less. Outerwear rarely needs washing. Instead, we recommend airing and spot-cleaning – two sustainable ways to keep your clothes clean and fresh, whilst also extending their lifespan. Air your clothes outdoors or by an open window.
- Lower the water temperature. The colder the water, the better it is for the environment and the lifespan of your clothes. Wash at a maximum of 30° whenever possible.
- Minimise the use of the tumble dryer. Only tumble dry clothes that really need it.
- Use the dry cleaner as little as possible. They use harsh chemicals. Spot-clean and air your clothes instead. Brush suits and coats.
- Use eco-friendly detergent. For your health, for your skin and to protect our planet.
- Protect your clothes when eating and drinking. Spills at the dinner table are the most common cause of stained clothes. Use napkins and remind your children to protect their clothes during meals.
Even if you don’t use aromatherapeutic skincare or products for the home, nature still ensures that aromatherapy is all around us. Trees and plants release invisible plant compounds, phytoncides, which research links to lower stress levels and increased activity in the body’s natural defence cells.
This is a beautiful account of forest bathing, nature’s aromatherapy and the scientific evidence behind it.
If you experience dryness, irritation or skin that’s constantly out of balance, the root cause may be a weakened skin barrier. But restoring a healthy skin barrier doesn’t have to be complex.
In this article, we guide you towards a deeper understanding of your skin’s natural defence – and how few key elements can help strengthen it.
Did you know that essential oils are used as a form of medical treatment in countries such as Germany, England and France? And that scent affects our mood more quickly than both sound and light – acting as a direct highway to our emotions? Aromatherapy is attracting increasing attention in the world of research, where its effects on both body and mind are being investigated. Delve into nature’s invisible superpowers and discover how scent can become a shortcut to calm, energy and balance.
