A lightly tinted, mineral-based SPF face cream that doesn’t clog pores and can replace your day cream and foundation, or be used as an extra sun protection step in your skincare routine. The antioxidant-rich formula evens out the skin and leaves it protected with a natural colour and glow.

BB FACE CREAM contains the same organic, high-performance ingredients as our luxurious FACE CREAM with SPF, including hydrating hyaluronic acid and clinically proven, collagen-stimulating bio-retinol from mung bean seeds – the BB version simply has added mineral colour pigments from light-reflecting iron oxides.

• Use the BB face cream as a tinted day cream, sun cream, light-coverage foundation or sun protection on top of your usual day cream or facial oil. 
• Always use sun cream with physical sun filters as the final step in your skincare routine.
• Use an amount roughly equivalent to an almond.
• Massage the BB cream into the skin in two stages for full coverage with SPF. If necessary, apply in two layers to achieve a more even and opaque foundation effect. Apply until the skin is completely covered to avoid reduced protection.
• Use the PRE & AFTER SUN serum-lotion before applying sun cream for optimal antioxidant protection, and after sun exposure for optimal hydration and soothing of the skin.
• Sun cream with physical filters provides sun protection immediately after application.
• Reapply frequently, especially after sweating, and always reapply after swimming or towelling off.
• You can enhance, protect and prolong your tan by gently exfoliating your skin regularly with, for example, the RENEW facial dry brush or the Karmameju konjac sponge, as well as by using moisturising PRE & AFTER SUN products both before and after sun exposure.
• Always store your sun care products in the shade, or as cool as possible, to preserve the optimal effect of the natural and active ingredients.

Sun safety tips 

A sun hat, light clothing and staying in the shade between 12 noon and 3 pm are good ways to protect your skin during the hours when the sun is at its strongest.

Please note 

Keep babies and young children out of direct sunlight. Avoid excessive sunbathing, even after applying sun cream. Too much sun poses a serious health risk. Choose the sun protection factor (SPF) that suits your skin type, as well as the intensity of the sun you are exposed to (UV index). Sensitive skin should use a high sun protection factor.

Sunscreen does not provide 100% protection, so spend time in the sun with your health in mind and never for long periods at a time. Protect the skin on your body with light clothing and your scalp and face with a sun hat. It is recommended that you stay in the shade between 12 noon and 3 pm, when the sun is at its strongest.

To achieve a level of protection corresponding to the sun protection factor (SPF) stated on the product’s packaging, the product must be applied to the skin in the quantities used in laboratory testing of the SPF. Therefore, ensure that the skin on your face, décolletage and ears is fully covered. If the skin is not adequately covered with sun cream, protection will be compromised.

Rinse thoroughly with water in the event of contact with the eyes. Do not swallow. A skin test is recommended. Seek professional advice during pregnancy or whilst breastfeeding if using essential oils. Store in a cool, dark place. May contain traces of nut oil.

Nickel is found naturally in iron oxide, which is the colourant we use in our BB creams. It is said that cosmetic products containing less than 1 ppm (parts per million) of nickel can be used by most people with a nickel allergy without causing an allergic reaction. The nickel content in the iron oxide we use in both our SUN BB creams is below 1 ppm. If you know you are allergic to nickel, we would, of course, always recommend testing the product on a small area of your skin to see how it reacts before applying it to your entire face.
