At Karmameju, we are sensory explorers, and our noses are always on the hunt for new olfactory experiences in the noble world of aromatherapy. Many years of working with nature’s own scents have led to the launch of our perfume collection:Powderbloom,NECTARFLAME,URBAN OUD and STORYTELLER.

The high content of precious essential oils and resins is the common thread running through our perfumes. We develop only fragrances that honour the noble heritage of the original, natural art of perfumery. But when it comes to the scent of these fragrances and the emotions associated with them, there’s a world of difference…

You’ve probably experienced it: when someone’s scent triggers an emotion in you. Because the scent is linked to cherished memories and experiences – or the opposite. Perhaps the scent is associated with a particular person and all the facets of their personality that you cherish. Your perfume could therefore potentially become the one you’re remembered for.

But a scent can also evoke a very special mood – in the room you’re in or simply within yourself. A mood you’re drawn to, one you dream of experiencing when you wear the perfume, or one that stirs a feeling deep inside – a scent that ignites your inner muse and makes you feel sexy, peaceful or brave… whatever you identify with most.

STORYTELLER – a fresh, green fragrance

STORYTELLER is a light, positive and seductive blend of effervescent sweet citrus fused with earthy, herbaceous florals and deep, dry woody notes in a fresh, green perfume masterblend. Through the universal language of scent, STORYTELLER unfolds like a tender love letter, evoking happy memories from the past whilst uplifting and soothing the present.

Fragrance notes from the fresh fragrance family can evoke thoughts of the sea’s cool breeze, the sun’s rays on warm skin or the scent of freshly picked citrus fruits. Light and airy summer fragrances in Eau de Toilette form are often found in this fragrance family

POWDERBLOOM – a chypre fragrance

POWDERBLOOM features powdery aldehydes combined with deep, precious floral notes of roses, rose geranium and lime blossom, with light and fleeting top notes of fresh, green bergamot, aromatic angelica root and soothing chamomile. Composed in beautiful harmony with spiritual frankincense and seductive ylang-ylang, and with base notes of warm amber, resinous labdanum and sweet cedarwood.

Fragrances from the chypre family are rich and sophisticated, yet light and understated, with deep, warm and dry elements of seductive flowers, fruit and wood.

Powderbloom Eau de Parfum is for those drawn to light, floral fragrances that leave a vibrant, yet sensual and warm impression.

Nectarflame – a floral oriental fragrance

NECTARFLAME is a sweet, heart-warming encounter. Delicately composed of lavender, lime blossom and rose geranium in the top notes, it offers a gentle and harmonious opening to the fragrance.

An intoxicating, passionate and nectar-sweet heart of night-blooming hyacinth, Bulgarian rose, musk seed, jasmine, magnolia and ylang-ylang gives NECTARFLAME its warm heart note at the centre of the fragrance.

Earthy resins, guaiac wood, cedarwood, patchouli and balsamic labdanum round off the fragrance without overpowering the sweet, fiery heart.

NECTARFLAME is a labour of love within the floral-oriental fragrance family.

As the name suggests, the fragrances in this family are a sumptuous combination of light, floral notes and nectar-sweet blossoms, spices, warm woody notes and balsamic resins.

Nectarflame is for those drawn to sweet, rich fragrances that leave an intoxicatingly sensual, yet harmoniously feminine impression.

Urban Oud – a woody fragrance

Urban Oud is an intense and seductive woody fragrance, centred on the precious resin of the agarwood (Oud), which immediately commands attention. In the top notes, this distinctive scent is spiced with enchanting star anise and intense cardamom, combined with the fragrance’s warm heart of sensual and decadent jasmine, neroli, Bulgarian rose and exotic ylang-ylang. The base notes are associated with seductive mystique and deep secrets, and feature green vetiver and five captivating woody notes: agarwood (Oud), guaiac wood, sandalwood, labdanum and benzoin.

The woody fragrance family is dominated by warm, dry and distinctive raw, smoky and earthy notes. Drawing on the use of resin, bark, pine cones, moss, leaves and the roots of the earth, the woody notes paint a picturesque scene of untamed nature and deep forests.

Urban Oud is for those drawn to raw, masculine and sensual fragrance notes that speak their own clear ‘body’ language. Urban Oud is the essence of aromatherapeutic seduction that appeals to both men and women. That is why Urban Oud is a unisex fragrance.
