Inspiration for smoothies

What can you put in a smoothie? Or perhaps it’s easier to ask: what can you not put in a smoothie – because there’s virtually nothing you can’t put in one. Here, we’ve put together a list of nutrient-rich foods that will hopefully inspire you to get creative when you’re having a look in your fridge, freezer and cupboards at home, or when you’re out shopping.

Nature is so magical in my eyes, so perfect and carefully composed to strengthen our bodies. If you Google ‘sweet potato’, for example, it’s almost touching that a completely ordinary root vegetable contains fibre, antioxidants, high levels of vitamin C, beta-carotene, vitamin B1, manganese and potassium. Nutrients that support virtually all bodily processes.
