Enter Art Fair 2025
Karmameju’s STORYTELLER installation unfolds the art of aromatherapeutic perfumery in a journey through the layers of fragrance. The installation was showcased at Enter Art Fair 2025 – Scandinavia’s largest international art fair.

Throughout history, perfume has always been an art form – composed like music, painted in scent, written like poetry and shaped over time. To create perfume that moves people, you need a perfumer, a ‘nose’, an artist.
With this in mind, we created the STORYTELLER Fragrance Art Installation.
The installation was first presented in 2024 at the Gether Contemporary gallery as a celebration of Karmameju’s 25th anniversary.
For the second year running, we had the honour of presenting the installation – this time at Enter Art Fair. Scandinavia’s largest international art fair.
STORYTELLER is a sense-awakening and interactive scent journey through nine aromatherapeutic notes, composed in three layers: top, middle, and base – just as a perfumer composes a fragrance. We deconstructed the scent to invite visitors deep into its core and to create a truly immersive, sensory experience.
At Enter Art Fair, visitors could experience the natural art of perfumery – where scent awakens memories, moods, and emotions. In the present moment.

We took over the most beautiful space in the old, captivating Lokomotivværkstedet (The Train Workshop) – the perfect setting for sensory exploration.
Our intention was to create a sanctuary for visitors at Enter Art Fair, and we shared the space with The Assana, who facilitated daily guided breathwork sessions – conscious breathing that boosts energy levels and regulates the nervous system. And VibroAcoustics, whose ViBoard combines vibrations and advanced sound technology to help bring body and mind into a state of calm.
It became exactly what we had dreamed of: a restorative haven curated to slow down the pace, recharge the batteries, and deepen presence – a palette cleanser between the many impressions of the art fair.
